Benefits of reciting Surah al-Mudathir (The Clothed One)

  1. It is narrated from the Our Beloved Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (Radi Allahu tala anhu) that whoever recites Sura Mudassir in their obligatory canonical prayers, Almighty Allah shall make them accompany the Our Beloved Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and shall grant them his elevated degree, and they shall not be entangled with misfortune and pain in this worldly life.
  2. If Surat Muddassir is recited, one will be protected from misfortunes.
  3. If Surat Muddassir is recited daily and then a dua is made after its recitation, then the dua will be answered and the need will be fulfilled. If one makes dua that he wishes to memorize the whole Quran then he will not die until he has memorized it.
  4. Will not die until he has memorised Quran if dua for memorisation is done with the recitation of the surah.
